Purchasing a Report
Once you proceed to purchase a report, you’ll be presented with a notice explaining that we’ll ask you a series of simple questions.
The answers supplied will give our AI mechanic the best opportunity to supply you a detailed and accurate report – So,
the more accurate your response here, the better.
However, don’t worry, they are all basic questions, if you can’t answer any there’s always a Don’t Know option.
The first step will be to confirm the vehicle details. If necessary, you can edit the vehicle profile before proceeding.
Next, there’s a series of 10 simple Yes or No questions, such as:-
- Are there any engine warning lights on the dashboard?
- Does the vehicle start and idle correctly?
- Does the vehicle rev freely when stationary?
- Etc..
Once completed, you’ll be asked to enter the mileage on the vehicle, which you’ll of course find on the dash.
If for any reason you cannot supply this accurately, please estimate it.
Then, finally, you’ll be asked to explain any other faults or symptoms. Here is your chance to add any
additional information, just like you would explain to a mechanic.
If you don’t have fault codes, it’s really important to supply as much information here as possible.
Explain any symptoms, what you are experiencing and any other warning messages on the dashboard.
Now you’ve completed this short Q and A you will be presented with your answers. If you need to change
any use the back button – top left of the screen – to cycle backwards.
Once ready to proceed, use the Purchase Report button and make payment.
Once payment is complete, you’ll receive a Success notification and an option to go to the Reports tab.
On average reports are processed within 3-4 minutes, and there’s a status of progress
so you’ll know when it’s ready for viewing.
